A breeder of various birds for over 40 years, breeding and exhibiting Gloster Canaries since 1992.
My best achievement was winning the Supreme Award at the English National Cage & Aviary Birds Exhibition in 2002,
only the second Gloster breeder to achieve this, the other being Derek and Margaret Moore.

What a job!
In my work I'm heavily involved with quality and science, being a metallurgist
in the main laboratories of a steelworks and specialising in the metallography of steel rods for the manufacture of Tyre Cord,
which is used in the reinforcement of car and lorry tyres. This is a demanding product requiring very high standards of quality
and a critically trained eye.
